We would like to share an update regarding the Beanies sessions.
As we move into the New Year, our chairman and resident junior coach Ben had to made the difficult decision to bring the Beanies sessions to a close. Due to his increasing commitments and the need to carefully manage time and priorities, it has unfortunately become unsustainable for him to continue delivering the sessions at the level they deserve.
This was not an easy decision. Beanies has been a valued and rewarding part of our club’s programme, and it is deeply regretted that it cannot continue. We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm, commitment, and support shown by El Presidente, who has played a key role in shaping the youngest local chess talents while making the sessions such a positive experience.
While the Beanies sessions are coming to an end, we are very pleased to confirm that our junior chess sessions will continue every Thursday. These sessions remain a key part of Anstey Chess Club’s commitment to developing young players and providing a fun, supportive environment to learn and improve.
